Puppets in Progress with Rough House!
Join us for a collaborative event with Rough House on Tuesday, August 13th from 7-9 pm!
Rough House is a multidisciplinary organization whose aim is to connect communities through art. They celebrate uniqueness through weirdness and foster connection through the even weirder. Together with Rough House, we will be merging minds about printing, visual art, and performing objects!
Puppets in Progress (PIPs) is a quarterly, informal forum for artists and puppeteers of any level of experience to bring fledgling puppet experiments to a non-judgmental audience for feedback and support. Bring whatever you’re working on and get encouragement and feedback from other Chicago puppet-folks!
Everyone is welcome: whether you are new to puppetry or a veteran with a new project; whether you are a dancer, comics artist, performance poet, teacher, lifeguard, or an engineer just curious about what puppetry looks like today! Bring a project, no matter how *Rough*, or just come for the conversation. There will be snacks provided and many supportive humans to meet!
